Why do I do the morning movement classes with Teresa?
How does it help?
I like:
- Teresa’s experience, knowledge, clarity and attention to detail to guide me to move consciously and correctly
- Teresa’s cheerfulness, enthusiasm and encouragement at 7am in the morning
- What I’ve learned about moving and breathing mindfully
- Some of the movements Teresa suggests are very helpful in reducing my back pain
- That I have more tools available to me when I need to alleviate pain
- That I have become more able and stable in the movements we practise.
- The motivation of being part of a class to keep me doing what I experience is good for me.
Thanks Teresa for initially taking the time to really listen to how pain was impacting my life. I never feel rushed or pushed into a regime that doesn’t feel right for me. After treatment I always experience a reduction in pain and improvement in movement. Your enthusiasm is infectious:)
I have been working with Teresa and attending the MOVEFREELY zoom classes two times per week for the past year. When I started, I remember feeling completely useless at it and I work in the health industry. What I love about Teresa’s classes is the deep connection with movement and body awareness. It is a whole new level of understanding the importance of slowing down, really being deeply connected to how I move and where my body needs more attention. The exercises I felt useless at I now love and can really notice a big improvement since starting. Teresa has exceptional knowledge in all she does and has a real care factor when it comes to helping people understand where their body is at and the level they need to work at. It is a fun and easy way to do the foundational work allowing me to do my daily activities with more awareness and ease. I highly recommend these classes to anyone who is committed to better health, movement, and injury prevention.
